Congress Program Overview

Consisting of lectures, symposia and poster sessions, the scientific program will provide an intensive focus on the pathogenesis of human and animal diseases. Under the Congress theme « Gene-environment interaction in health and disease », special emphasis will be placed on diseases, technologies, tools and novel therapeutic approaches.

Topics Include

I-Pathophysiological pathways of health and diseases
Ageing - Cancer - Cardiovascular, hypertension and renal diseases - Diabetes, Obesity,  Metabolic syndrome and endocrine diseases - Gastrointestinal diseases - Inflammation, infection and immune system diseases - Lung diseases - Neurodegenerative diseases and pain - Regenerative medicine

II-Novel pathophysiological approaches and tools
Novel animal models - “Omics” tools including Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Ecogenomics, Epigenomics and Pharmacogenomics - Systems biology and signal transduction

III. Novel therapeutic/diagnostic pathophysiological targets
Biomarkers and molecular diagnosis - Drug targets -Therapeutic targets-Diseasome

Poster Sessions

Poster sessions are being provided to offer a further means of sharing information from colleagues from around the globe regarding past experiences, new ideas and innovations. Posters will be grouped by themes and sub-themes and presented in the exhibition
hall for the duration of the Congress.

Specific sessions will allow author(s) to present their posters and interact with other
Congress participants. More information will come as the website will evolve.
